Hi, my name’s Claire and I love cats.
I offer overnight cat sitting in Boulder, Colorado, and the surrounding areas. I offer a few add-on services, to support your well-being, as well.
I also create watercolor cat portraits, for those near and far.
What is Cat Magic?
My bond with cats is deep and multi-faceted. It’s also a little weird and very woo-woo. This is what I mean by “cat magic”:
- Most cats respond well to me. Sometimes, they even go out-of-their-way to greet me, i.e. when I’m walking home from the grocery store.
- When psychics read my energy, they usually see some form of wildcat as my spirit animal. I’ve gotten tiger, lion, and panther. I identify most with tiger energy, but I can be a little lionish, too, LOL.
- Cats are hard-wired for survival and I think they trust me, because I have a very protective energy.
- I am a highly sensitive person, so I am keenly attuned to danger and I make for a very good watch cat.
- I’ve been told that I have a way of translating cats’ essences and emotions in my watercolor paintings.
- I’m a hearth witch. Cats and witches go together, right?!
- I had a vision where the cat Goddess Bastet visited me and told me that I need to work with cats. I was sort of going in another direction, at the time, but that definitely got my attention!
- I love to learn about cat behavior. For example, there’s a documentary that I just watched about a scientific study on cats, which I found to be fascinating.
- I grew up with cats. You could say I was practically raised by them, because they were way more present than my parents.
Overnight Cat Sitting
Are you planning a vacation, business trip, or other adventure? Do you need someone responsible and aware to care for your cats and your home, while you’re gone?
I would love to stay with your cats overnight. Your cats deserve and likely need someone protective that they can trust to stay with them at night and watch out for them, not just a stranger who pops in once-a-day.
Overnights are probably better for your relationship with your cats, as well. I’m sure you want to keep the trust that you probably worked hard to create with them, right? Overnight sitting can also prevent your cats from acting up, out of resentment.
What’s included?
- daily food and water refreshing
- medication administration, if needed
- exercising your cat(s), upon request
- bringing in the mail, newspaper & deliveries
- watering your indoor plants and garden
- keeping a watchful eye on your home
- basic cleaning, i.e. sweeping, taking out the trash, cleaning up after myself and your cats
- litterbox maintenance

Add-on Services
Your cats are going to be well-cared for, while you’re away. That’s a given. But, what about you and your home? Wouldn’t it be great to have a smoother transition, for when you come back from your business trip or vacation?
Well, I can at least help keep you well-fed, by stocking your kitchen and making some of your favorite meals.
I may be able to take on some small organizing projects, as well. And how about a space clearing to boost the chi of your home, enhance your alignment to the divine, and increase your luck?

Groceries
Wouldn’t it be lovely to have your fridge and pantry stocked up, for when you arrive home? I would be happy order groceries for you, have them delivered, and I will put them away for you.
This is especially helpful if you are trying to stick to a particular eating plan. When you need foods that are “safe”, it helps to avoid the tempations in the stores, especially when you’re dealing travel fatigue. I can help you stay on track, by having what you need ready for you, at home.
Meal Prep
Do you find yourself dreading cooking, after a long trip? Do you often end up blowing your diet on snack and convenience foods, when you get home?
I can help! I love to cook and can prep some of your favorite meals and tuck them in the fridge or freezer (your preference), so all you have to do is heat them up and enjoy!
I specialize in high protein plant-based foods, but am happy to work with other preferences (including meat) and limitations.
Organizing
Do you have some small organizing projects that you’ve been meaning to get to, but just haven’t had the time or energy?
Maybe there’s a closet that needs sorting or a kitchen drawer that’s overstuffed and causes frustration, every time you go to get something out of it.
While you’re gone, I can take care of those organizing projects for you. That way, you’ll come home to more order, ease and grace in your space, as well as refreshed energy (chi).
Space Clearing
Did you go through a hard time, before your vacation? Or maybe you’ve just been stressed out, in general? It happens.
While you’re away, I can do a feng shui space clearing, to dispel any lingering icky energy, send things spinning in a more life-affirming direction, and enhance the chi of your home. All of this is meant to enhance your chi.
A space clearing works best when your home is nice and fresh, so it’s best to have it done after some cleaning & organizing, if needed.

Cat Portraits
A number of years ago, I wanted to make handmade Christmas cards for some of my friends around town. I was inspired to do a few dos and a few cats. I used plain backgrounds, to keep things simple.
It turned into a thing. Because I’d started out using Christmas hats and a scarf, I thought I’d try my hand at cats in other costumes. I did a witch cat and a princess cat.
I started experimenting with backgrounds, as well as cats in different poses, with different moods and facial expressions.
My style has become more nuanced and sophisticated, over the years. I’ve created a nice collection and you can see samples of my work by scrolling through the pics (above or to the left).
I’m currently adding to my portfolio, painting cats with a spring and summer vibe.
